Praise the name of the Lord.
This is a little overdue (sorry). Our weekend in Chacamba at the open-air meeting was filled with lots of joy and encouragement. It was hot and there were lots of people where we lived, but it didn’t matter in the end. The things that happened and the ways God moved were bigger than any heat or exhaustion. We got to preach, testify to Jesus' love and also get closer to the church members from our church in Mpeketoni. Even in just 2 mornings of doing door-to-door we built relationships with the people of the community and saw God answer prayers.
One woman we prayed for could hardly do a lot of her household chores, let alone walk a couple miles to the church. On the last day of the crusade she came. She walked over to me and I looked at her and gave her a big hug. She said she was healed and I couldn’t think of anything to say but “Thank you Jesus!” I’m so glad that she was able to come and I know that Jesus wanted her to be there.
Every day for the crusade we danced a lot. There would be about 50 or more kids up by the front dancing and singing. We of course jumped right into it and tried to follow along! Let’s just say, by the last day Rachel and I were pretty much leading the dances. I find that this is the way I love to worship. It was great to PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD!

was so precious to hear their voices praising God and seeing
how much they enjoyed singing and dancing along with us!

Rachel and I visited a church in the area on Sunday. Rachel gave a
tesitmony and I was able to preach another sermon. After this picture,
every family in the church wanted their own picture with us.

Oh my gosh, Rebekah. I am so amazed to continue reading and seeing what God is using you to do! What an honor to be used by God in the ways that you have to minister to His people. I am so grateful to Him for taking you to these places, opening your eyes and heart with compassion and love, and building relationships with many different people. Get it, girl.
Good Morning Bekah,
I know you heart is heavy today, not being at home with your family. But rejoice in the knowledge that Grandpa is ” home ” with Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. You are leading those with little or no faith to a relationship with God the father, the son and the holy spirit. Show them today, that even when your heart is sad it is filled with overflowing joy in the knowledge that your family will all be reunited some day – in HIS time. Remember all the good times and happy moments. Just think of how happy Grandma is today that God has reunied them for eternity and then beyond.
Be blessed my friend,worship with all your heart. God truly loves you, he is using you in amazing ways. Your life will be forever different because you cared more about ” HIS ” plan for your life rather than yours. The whole world has been opened before your eyes.

Oh Bekah – I read your words with tears in my eyes and praise in my heart seeing and hearing how the Lord is using you on this mission. There is such joy on your face and I am not surprised that you like dancing and praising! Brings us back to our dancing days with the kids at SPC.
