You saw me when no one else did
You loved me when no one else did
You saw me when no one else did
And you gave me a name, I am your child, the apple of your eye
Because you loved me
And you gave me a name, I am your child, the apple of your eye
Because you loved me
I love you more than my own life
I am the apple of His eye. He loves me when no one else does. I am His child. The least I could do is give my life to serve Him.
Thinking back I realize that I don’t always give everything to God. I have always tried to hide my frustration and confusion about life. The other night we were worshipping at the Wednesday night service and this song we sang really hit me. God listens and cares about me even when no one else does. He loves me for who I am and how I function. He made me who I am for a reason. Just typing this right now is hard because it’s still hard to believe.
As many of you know, I like to talk. I could talk about what happened in my day for hours. All the little things matter to me sometimes and I like to ramble about them. I guess I just want to thank y’all for putting up with me…haha. I’ve come to understand that my Heavenly Father loves to hear my voice no matter what. To come to Him and just talk is important and he loves when I do come to Him.

I read a book about an autistic boy who wouldn’t talk to anyone. He was pretty much constantly in His own world. The major times he interacted with the people around him were to lift them up in prayer. He would do so quietly and without anyone knowing, but he always went to God first. I learned a lot from this boy because he had his priorities straight. He knew that God could do things better than anyone else. He knew who really could fix a problem or get him through the day.
This brings me back to the acronym, F.R.O.G., fully rely on God. I need to fully rely on God to ease my frustration. I need to fully rely on God to hear me when I need a listening ear. I need to fully rely on God when I don’t know what to do with my life. I need to fully rely on God when I’m ministering to people in Nicaragua. I need to fully put my hope and strength in His name and remember who I am to Him.
I’m learning more and more each day what it means to love Jesus more than my own life.

OMGILU! I love acronyms too! You are learning so much and He does love the sound of your voice speaking to Him first, and always. He has you at the right place at the right time! We pray for you and Roni and the team each morning. We are proud of the Kingdom work you are doing! And I love to hear about your day too…details and all!
Bekah, I don’t you have any idea how beautiful you are inside and out, and how much God wants to use you to build up and empower others.
He’s gently loving you into laying down your control so you can pick up His strength and power. Because you have influence and because you said “yes” when He asked you to lay down your life for Him. You’re doing it. Give yourself grace. You’re doing it!
Love you girl! Always praying for you pioneers.
I think God was before gamelan, so keep relying on Him! Love to hear the lessons you are learning anew.
I love to see what you’re doing and learning there is still having an impact on so many peoples lives and days back home! Love you sis!
